Hatboro Station

EMS Station 384

In 1998, the Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro decided to disband their Ambulance Operation (formerly called Medic 354), so the Borough of Hatboro was in need of an EMS service.  Coming to the aide of the residents of Hatboro, Second Alarmers created a new substation which was then called 353B.  This unit's first-due district has evolved over the years as the call volume was examined and now the station handles approximately half of Upper Moreland Township as well as the Borough of Hatboro.  In 2006 the station was redesignated 384 and is also assigned a portion of the Second Alarmer's assigned area of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Eastbound from Exit 343 to Exit 351.  On some occasions, 384 is called in by neighboring Bucks County to assist or cover bordering districts in that county.  As a result, Second Alarmer's routinely provides care to residents of Warminster and Upper Southampton Townships.
