Transport Team

Second Alarmers Association and Rescue Squad started providing a Critical Care Transport Team to Holy Redeemer Hospital's Cardiac Catheterization Lab on March 16, 2007. This dedicated ambulance will be present at Holy Redeemer Hospital Monday through Friday while Cardiac Catheterization procedures are performed.   This team handles all emergent transports from the Holy Redeemer CathLab to predetermined receiving facilities in the rare event of the need for emergent heart surgical intervention.   SARS 13 is a specially designed vehicle taking advantage of an oversized patient compartment, multiple power inverters, additional 120VAC electrical receptacles and mounting brackets made specifically for the CathLab equipment such as Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps, Left Ventricular Assist Devices, specialized monitoring equipment and multiple IV pumps.
