"Medic 353C, Rescue 300, a Vehicle Rescue, Jenkintown Road and Easton Road, Abington Township"

21 June 2005, 18:45 hours.  Photos were taken by Andrew Focht, Battalion Chief 353 as he was commanding this scene.

AC300 Jerry Gerhard helps Boz calm the patient as he surveys the scene.

John Gerhard removes the door with the Holmatro tools.

The door sticks and requires another cut.

The door was jammed into the car so tightly, that it did not break free easily, even with the hydraulic tools.

"Boz" Garvin provides Advanced care inside the vehicle as the rescue continues around him.

John Townsend lends a hand as Boz requests more equipment.

The rescue continues.

The door is crushed inward and is tricky to get loose.

The door is finally broken free and the roof is the next step.

The roof is removed, leaving a clear path for Boz, with the help of Paramedic JT Strachan from 353A

The extrication begins and the Paramedics can now access and treat the patient's bilateral open tibia/fibula fractures.
