Why should you become a Subscription Member?
The cost of ambulance service can be as high as $1,500 depending on the level of service provided. Most insurance companies, including Medicare and commercial providers, pay only a portion of the cost of ambulance care and transportation, requiring the patient to pay a co-payment or deductible. The patient’s share of the bill for ambulance service may be over half the total bill. As a contributor to our annual subscription drive, Second Alarmer’s will waive any charges not covered by insurance, including deductibles and co-pays, when your subscription meets the requested donation amount AND is made at least 24-hours prior to ambulance service.
