VOLUNTEER MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Membership Requirements:

• Minimum Standard First Aid (Advanced First Aid for members 16&17) within 6 months
• CPR certification within 6 months
• Minimum 16 years of age
• Volunteer 4 hours per week for Active Membership
  • "Sustaining A" membership requires only 50 hours per six month period (for EMS providers)
  • "Sustaining R" membership has special requirement for qualified Firefighters of nearby companies, contact us for further details.
  • "Sustaining R" membership is also used for volunteers on the SEARCH UNIT or DOGHANDLERS, contact us for further details.
• Other membership categories for people with limited time or special talents they'd like to provide (such as administrative services, vehicle mechanics or other such trades)

Membership Process:

• Complete Application and submit a check in the amount of $30.00
• Be interviewed by the membership committee
• Attend an orientation session and OSHA mandated training for new members (lasts about 5 hours)
• 6 month probationary period

Membership applications may be obtained from the squad building at 307 Davisville Road (located at Davisville Rd. and Everett Ave.) so call (215) 659-1885 or stop by during the early evening and ask for a tour while you are there!
